Referencing Style Guides
When you are writing an essay or assignment for your course, you need to acknowledge and cite the source of your information - this is known as referencing. The Academic Referencing Tool (ART) below provides detailed examples of the four referencing styles; AGLC3 (Law), APA 6, Footnoting and Harvard that have been endorsed for undergraduate students by La Trobe University.
Use the Academic Referencing Modules (ARM) to help you understand the principles of referencing.
