Messages of Appreciation
Thanks for the email. At this point, may I convey my sincere thanks to the Aussie Library Community for their generous support to us librarians in Africa. I am really humbled by their support and passion, as this will afford me the opportunity to attend such an international gathering of librarians. It has always been my dream to attend the IFLA conference and this dream finally came true! Some of us would not have made it with our own means because of financial in capabilities.
May you please, on my behalf, pass my sincere thanks to all the Librarians / Libraries in Australia who contributed towards this fund and hope to meet some, if not all of them, in Durban. Thanks for the support and God bless.
Warm regards
Antony

I have just visited the website of the fund raising activities done at the various centres and what I saw were HAPPY, SMILING faces throughout. I am really touched with the photos. Hope to meet the librarians in Durban!
AntonyI thank you very much for your thoughts and gesture of raising fund to support us. This is a golden opportunity to meet with colleagues from different parts of the world to share experience, knowledge and thoughts. Please convey the message to your colleagues. I will appreciate to have a conference mentor on the first day.

My apologies for not replying earlier. I was away and did not check my email. First, I would like to thank the Australian libraries for sponsoring my participation at the IFLA Conference.

Thanks for your latest message which I received this morning. About the issue of business cards probably I have mine but I do not know approximately how many cards can serve the purpose, please tell me. You know Sharon, this will be my first greatest international event to attend, and I do not think that I am the only one in such situation but I am sure that other colleagues are faced with similar situation. What I have observed in such a big city everything is SAR or Euro and this is why I am extra careful in handling every issue because you never know what will be in the pocket. As an eye opener, I expect to learn a lot of things from this exposure and this is why I'm sending TRILLION THANKS to IFLA/Australia for offering me the grant, WLIC Organizing Committee and LIASA.
You are free to contact me whenever you feel like.
With kind regards.
Amour
