Services for Wodonga Institute of TAFE Clients
All staff and students of Wodonga Institute of TAFE are eligible to become members of this Library.
How To Become A Member
Wodonga Institute of TAFE students will need to fill in an enrolment card and present it to staff at the Loans Desk, along with their current student card. Your ID is also your Library membership card and you must have it with you in order to borrow.
Sessional staff from TAFE must have a form signed by their Head of Department, acknowledging their employment and specifying a termination date. A staff card is needed to borrow any materials from the library.
Please note that access to some resources will be restricted due to licensing arrangements. For more information on electronic resources, inter lending and document delivery and off campus services see below.
For all other information regarding borrowing, facilities, research or services, please select Services for Students/Staff from the left-hand column on this page.
Databases
TAFE subscribes to a selection of electronic databases which identify journal articles and papers on specific topics, and sometimes offers the entire articles in full text. Please inquire at the Information Desk for details.
Students may access these databases from the designated TAFE workstations located in the Library or from other authorised TAFE workstations.
Access to the databases that La Trobe University Library subscribes to is not available, due to licensing agreements.
Borrowing from other Libraries
TAFE Students may borrow from Riverina TAFE (Albury campus) and Charles Sturt University upon presentation of a current student card. Students may also borrow from other Victorian Libraries by obtaining a CAVAL card from the loans desk.
Inter lending and Document Delivery is available only to TAFE staff with approval. For more details contact the Inter lending and Document Delivery Service Co-Ordinator on 02 6024 9764.
