Places to Study
The Library caters for different study and research needs by providing zones for quiet study and group discussion. Study spaces on the 1st floor are for working in groups and conversation is allowed. The 2nd floor is reserved for quiet study at individual desks.
- Group Tables accommodating groups of 6 to 8 are located on the 1st floor and on the Mezzanine.
- Power outlets for laptop computers use are located at the bench tables near the training room on the 1st floor and group table areas on the mezzanine floor.
- Individual Study Desks for private, silent study are on the 2nd floor.
- Audiovisual Listening Posts allow simultaneous use of DVDs, videos and streamed media for small groups of up to 6 users in the Audiovisual Room on the 1st floor.
- Easy chairs for relaxed reading are located on 1st floor near the group study area and the 2nd floor at new book and new journal issues display area.
