Trial – Document Delivery for Undergraduate Students
As a trial during second semester 2009, the Library is providing access to the Document Delivery Service for undergraduate students. This service has previously only been available to postgraduate students and staff.
This service means you can request documents that are not held in the La Trobe University Library collection but can be sourced from within Australia.
Undergraduate students can request copy from chapters of books, conference papers and specific journal and newspaper articles.

About time! But why can’t we get books as undergraduates?

This is great news! I’ve used it, and I hope it’s here to stay. Its frustrating when you find great articles only to find we don’t have access to them – now we do. Only thing that needs improvement, is that I didn’t get notification through email that they’d been delivered – it was only that I checked back a few days later, and since they expire within a certain timeframe, it would be helpful to have had an email saying they’d arrived.
