longer opening hours are a really good idea, but they are kind of wasted I think on a Sunday morning. I would rather Saturday morning or even earlier before classes, like 8 o’clock instead of 8:30. No-one wants to get up early on a sunday!

Thank you for taking the time to comment. The extended opening hours are currently on trial until the end of semester and the library will be reviewing this for 2010. We will take your comments into account whilst conducting our review.

The new extended hours make a real difference for me, the added flexability and convenience has enabled me to finish many assignments on time and to a higher standard than before. Please keep this new arrangement going .

For those like me who work full time and study having the library open for longer hours on the weekend is fantastic! I hope you keep this arrangement permanently as I am not able to accessthe library during the week unless I take a day off work. I work too far away to make it there after work and have children to attend to as well. So being able to drop in on a Sunday morning is great. Please consider that mature age, working, off campus students need to be catered for when planning services.
