Library Level 1 (ground floor) closed
To ensure the safety of Library users during the relocation of collections and while the area is prepared for scheduled redevelopment works in January, Level 1 of the Library has been closed.
If you need access to materials previously located on Level 1, please ask at the Inquiry Desk and staff will assist you.
Newspapers and the current serials display will be relocated to Level 2.
We apologise for any inconvenience.

Opera in the Alps- La Trobe at Beechworth

On Saturday 16 January 2010, Marina Prior and David Hobson will be joined by a 100-voice chorus and 50-piece orchestra led by one of Australia’s finest conductors, Benjamin Northey.
Staged on the picturesque grounds of La Trobe at Beechworth, Opera in the Alps is a magical evening of classical favourites now established as one of regional Victoria’s cultural highlights.

We have added a tramTRACKER® widget to the Library’s website, so if you need to catch a tram to, or from the Bundoora campus, you can check when your next tram is due before you leave!

Building works and collection moves underway
The Bundoora Annexe is now complete with 20km of new shelving in place over two levels and collection moves are underway.
Some minor works have begun on Level 2, which has meant that the New Books area has had to be temporarily relocated to near the Research Help Desk on Level 2 (or you can check the list of New Titles).
The Audiovisual collection and service desk has also been temporarily relocated to Training Rm2. After some minor works Audiovisual will then move to the Inquiry Desk.
ICT Student Help is now also located at the Inquiry Desk.
We apologise for any disturbance or inconvenience to anyone using the computer workstations on Level 2.
Additional computer workstations and study space will be available on Level 3 in January.
A Project Update is available on the Library Redevelopment website with further details about moves and changes.
