Complete our online survey & you could WIN!
The library is conducting a survey for students and staff.
We want feedback on the things that matter to you. We want to know what we’re doing right and even what we could be doing a little better.
Have your say and your confidential entry will go into the prize pool. You could win the grand prize of the latest Apple iPad. There are loads of other great prizes too, from Co-op Bookshop vouchers to iTunes cards.
Keep an eye out for the survey link on the library’s homepage, starting Monday, 23 August. The survey runs until Friday, 10 September.

I would like to see more up to date social work books kept at Albury/Wodonga campus. Most of the relevent books required for essays etc are at Bundoora campus. I would also like the journal entitled “Journal of Social Work in End of Life and Palliativ Care” be made available online from LaTrobe University.
Thankyou

The library has access to resources on this topic and assistance to find resources can be sought at the Library Research Desk. Our library is reviewing the collection within this subject area and have ordered additional titles to support the curriculum taught and the resources we already hold. Thanks for letting us know.

I would like to see more up to date books on community assessment needs. The books in our library are so old I can not use them for my assignments. Surley there have been some studies on this subject done in the 21st century, and some info printed

I would like the silent areas on level 2 to be silent – and I’d like it to be enforced by library staff – the lib caters really well for discussion areas but some people still persist in talking, giggling and being generally disruptive to other students and they need to be reminded to move on sometimes. This is an issue at the computer bank on level 2 in particular.
I think e-texts for high use and reserve items is really helpful and saves lots of time for me.
I think ipads should be supported by the tech help desk, find it ironic that it’s an incentive for this survey yet they tell me they are not supported by the library!
Printing – think it’s great that it all done in one area, but would like to be able to print from anywhere in the library. This would mean you don’t have to queue to print.
I’ll reserve comment on the computer queues as I assume that will be alleviated by the renovation? It has seemed better of late.
