La Trobe University Library news and information!

We need your feedback on our draft Service Charter

Do you know what services, facilities and resources you can expect from your Library?  Are you aware of the things you can do to help the Library provide a better service?

The Library has developed a draft Service Charter which details what we will deliver and what you can do to help us deliver a quality service for everyone.

Here is an example from the Charter:

We will We ask you to
Treat you with respect and courtesy
  • Treat staff and each other with respect and courtesy
Provide a range of spaces that support different learning and research styles and activities
  • Consider others in your use of library spaces
  • Not talk in silent areas
  • Talk quietly in other library areas
  • Switch your phone to silent
  • Observe booking times for rooms and computers

The Library is keen to hear what you think of the draft Service Charter.  Have we forgotten something? Should we change anything?

We look forward to reading your comments!
