Improved coverage in Web of Science
Since mid 2010, and via a Universities Australia deal with Thomson, academics have had improved access to resources on the Web of Science platform. Thomson Reuters has expanded coverage of Science, Social Science, and Arts & Humanities by 15%, 42% and 41% respectively.
The new or expanded resources include-
- Web of Science – with conference proceedings
- Citation databases:
- Conference Proceedings Citation Index- Science (CPCI-S) 1990-present
- Conference Proceedings Citation Index- Social Science & Humanities (CPCI-SSH) 1990-present
- Chemical databases:
- Current Chemical Reactions (CCR-EXPANDED) 1985-present
- (includes Institut National de la Propriete Industrielle structure data back to 1840)
- Index Chemicus (IC) 1993-present
and
- Current Contents Connect (1998-present) : complete tables of contents and bibliographic information from the world’s leading scholarly journals and books. This includes relevant, evaluated websites and documents. Access pre-published electronic journal articles.
- MEDLINE (1950-present) : the U.S. National Library of Medicine® (NLM®) premier life sciences database.
