Trial: Editoria Italiana Online until 31 March

La Trobe Library has trial access to Editoria Italiana Online until 31 March.

EIO is a representative collection of current, original-language, scholarly e-books and e-journals in Humanities and Social Sciences. Launched in 2004, the 2011 EIO Collection is host to over 6700 e-books and 196 e-journals by more than 90 prominent Italian academic publishers. Contributing publishers include Franco Angeli, École Française de Rome, Angelo Longo Editore, Leo S. Olschki, Storia e Letteratura, and Vita e Pensiero.

The contents are primarily Italian language publications with some texts in other languages (French and  English). The collection represents a snapshot of current, scholarly content in a range of subjects including: History, Philosophy, Classical Studies and Archaeology, Linguistics, Comparative Literature, Politics, Economics, Sociology, Religion, Art and Architecture. Content is exclusive to the Editoria Italiana Online collection.
