Trial database: Anatomy.TV
La Trobe now has trial access to Anatomy.TV until 5 May.
Anatomy.TV is a suite of 3D interactive models of human anatomy. The user can zoom, rotate and peel away layers. Supporting media include MRIs, X-rays, live-action movies and animations to supplement Anatomy.TV’s high resolution, computer-generated models.

This trial database is fantastic! I’ve done anatomy for the past two years as part of my course (OT) and spent long hours searching the internet for sites just like this one to aid my studies and understanding. If this had been available when I was doing my anatomy subjects, learning and conceptualising the human body and its compartments would have been much more enjoyable and beneficial to my studies. Please make this a full-time database for students in this uni. I’m always looking for ways to revise what I’ve learnt in this course and this is perfect for what I, and many others, need. We would really appreciate and benefit from it.
