‘Aboriginal Melbourne – Culture, Society and Identity’ – a talk by Julie Andrews

This presentation will focus on the Aboriginal community of Melbourne today. It will highlight particular elements of the Aboriginal community – how does the community project their cultural and community identity?

Julie’s discussion is based upon her fieldwork that is aimed at constructing the social and cultural profile of Aboriginal Melbourne over the past 50 years.

This is the first in a series of lunchtime lectures organised by the Humanities, Social Sciences and Education Team.
