The public plenary session will be held on Sunday, 29 November 2009, at the State Library Village Roadshow Theatrette, from 6-7.30pm.

The conference will be opened by The Hon Bob McMullan MP, Parliamentary Secretary for International Development Assistance. The keynote speech will be by Dr Jan Vandemoortele, former UNDP Resident representative in Pakistan and one of the architects of the MDGs.

One key aim is to bring together development practitioners, academics, policy makers and the business community.

How to find past exam papers.

The Library has many past examination papers available online–here’s a quick demonstration on how to find them:

The exams are only available to staff and students so you will have to enter your La Trobe username and password to access them. It is also a good idea to check the course materials for your subject on the University’s ‘Schools and Departments‘ webpages as many exams are also available on the web.

And if you need more help, remember your Subject Librarian is expert at finding resources–drop in and have a chat with them!

Post-genomic era drug discovery takes place in the context of an exponentially growing amount of genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic and chemical data. Making sense of all this information often requires going beyond reductionist models of biology and pharmacology. Dr O’Connor’s research involves using multiple diverse data types to extend our knowledge of the developmental and molecular signaling pathways dysregulated in disease.
