Visiting the Library on Open Day?

During semester the Library is the busiest place on campus. At La Trobe, Bundoora, the Library is located in the heart of the campus-the Agora, with its coffee and food shops.

During your time at uni you are likely to spend quite a lot of time in the Library, either in person or online via the website. The Library is where you can access the catalogue and internet, find books, e-books and journals, do research and discuss assignments, use the computers, find a quiet place to study, plug in a laptop, get wireless access, or ask a Librarian for some help to find the latest and most relevant resources for your studies.

Grab your copy of Open Day at the Library (PDF 207Kb) or see what else is on around the campus.

No more forms! Now you can request an item from Albury-Wodonga, Bendigo or Bundoora campus library via the catalogue.

This enhanced service means you can request online 'Holds' from any campus library for most available material as well as on loan material.

Just 'Request a Hold' for your item via the catalogue and then choose the location you want to pick it up from. However, if you are at the campus where the item is located, you must retrieve it yourself.

Why not curl up with a good book?

Your campus library has some great Science Fiction books and films to relax with over the break. For films, there is everything from Ridley Scott's Bladerunner, to animated Japanese films like Appleseed by Kazuyoshi Katayama.

There are also some great books like The Naked Sun by Isaac Asimov and Anthony Burgess' A Clockwork Orange .

To find more Sci Fi books and films, just go to the Library's catalogue, choose the 'subject' tab and type 'science fiction' in the search box. This will give you a listing of the entire Science Fiction collection.

Have a relaxing break.
