EndNote Web
EndNote Web is a simplified version of EndNote. It can be accessed from your home computer (if you have an Internet connection) and from most computers in the Library.
Setting up an EndNote Web Account
La Trobe staff and students may register for free access to EndNote Web.
Go to: www.myendnoteweb.com - Click on Sign Up and register using your email address and a password.
Using EndNote with Google Scholar
Did you know that you can change the Google Scholar preferences so that you can export references straight into Endnote? Here's how you do it:
- Go to the Scholar preferences page
- Towards the bottom of this screen you will see a section called Bibliography Manager. Under this select the 'Show links to import citations' and select Endnote from the dropdown menu.

- Perform a search and you will see that a new link appears under each citation - "Import into EndNote". Click on this to import individual references into your Endnote libraries.
