  1. Search the FIAF collection in the Film Indexes Online database
  2. Mark records
  3. Click on the Marked List link
  4. Click on the Download option
  5. Select Export directly to ProCite, EndNote or Reference Manager
Google Scholar
  1. Go to the Scholar preferences page
  2. Towards the bottom of this screen you will see a section called Bibliography Manager. Under this select the 'Show links to import citations' and select Endnote from the dropdown menu.
  3. Perform a search and you will see that a new link appears under each citation - "Import into EndNote". Click on this to import individual references into your Endnote libraries.
INFORMIT
  1. Mark records then click on Save
  2. Under Output Format select Endnote Direct
  3. Unclick the Search History box
  4. Click on Save Records

  1. Mark records
  2. Click on Save Citations (you will be asked for a JSTOR login. If you have not created a JSTOR account do so now).
  3. Click on Save Searches (top right hand corner of screen).
  4. Click on the Export Citations button
  5. Select the Endnote export option
  6. From the popup screen click on the Open option. This will open Endnote and allow you to select the required library.

  1. Select Tools > Online search
  2. Select the connection file La Trobe U and click on Choose.

In the Results Manager section

  1. Select the results to direct export (e.g. Selected Results, All on this page, All in this set).
  2. Under Fields, select Complete Reference.
  3. Select Direct Export under the Result Format heading.
  4. Under Actions, click-on Save.
  5. After EndNote opens, select your EndNote library and click on Open.

  1. Go to Tools > Online Search.
  2. Select PubMed (NLM).
  3. Click on Choose.
  4. Search PubMed by typing in your search terms, and click on Search.

Download the LTU Library catalogue call number filter.

You will need to save the downloaded filter to C:/Program Files/ EndNote/ Filters.

Downloading records

If you are in the full record display, click on Export. (You can export more titles this way.) If you are exporting from a list of titles, click the box next to each required title.

  • Click on Save marked records at the bottom of the page.
  • When you have finished selecting titles, click on Export saved list.
  • Select Full Display from Format of list.
  • Select Local Disk from Send List To and click on Submit.
  • Click on Save File.
  • Select the drive and type in a file name.
  • Click on Save.

Importing records into EndNote

  • Open your EndNote library.
  • Select File and then Import.
  • Click on Choose File to insert your file name.
  • Click on the Import Option drop down menu to select LTULcallnumber.enf
  • Click on Import to import your records.
