Wireless Network Printing at Bendigo Library
These instructions are provided to enable printing in the Bendigo Library from a laptop connected to the LTUWireless network. Note: If a laptop is not already connected to the LTUWireless network, refer to these System Configuration Instructions before attempting this setup.
Please read all instructions first!
Step 1 (Setup is for Windows Operating Systems only)
Right-Click: Install Network Printer and 'Save Link As' to your desktop.
Double-click the "addBenPrinter.bat" file from your desktop.
Step 2 (Repeated twice)
Enter your La Trobe username and password at the log-in prompt:

Note: You must enter students\ before your username.
Please tick "Remember my password" to avoid having to repeat this procedure.
Choose Yes if you encounter the message below:

Step 3
When printing from your laptop, select File > Print from the application you are working from, and make sure that you select ben-libraryuniversal for black & white printing or CGB-LBE-Colour1 for colour printing from the list of available printers.

Also, please ensure that you are currently connected to LTUWireless so that your print job can be sent.
Click OK once you are certain that you are connected and have the correct printer selected.
Step 4
Your print job should now be sent to all of the Print Stations around the Bendigo Library, and will appear under your La Trobe username, selectable from the menu.
- Select your username.
- Select the job you wish to print.
- Swipe your La Trobe card when prompted
- Collect your print job.
Please refer to documentation near the printers if you require more details on how to use the Printing Stations. For colour printing refer to documentation near the colour photocopier for details on how to use the colour printing function.
Troubleshooting
If you receive an "Access Denied" error, ensure "Client for Microsoft Networks" is ticked on, in your Wireless properties.
If printing fails to work in the future, please run this setup again before asking for assistance.
