Wireless Network - System Requirements
Important Note:
Machines using Windows XP Service Pack 2 will require a patch (approx 400Kb) to be installed on their system before attempting to use the LTUWireless network.
English and foreign language versions of this patch (ID: 885453) are supplied by the Library at Bundoora, however, other campus libraries must obtain them from Microsoft Support.
The Library is currently only supporting the following laptop configurations:
- Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (PDF 127Kb)
- Windows XP Service Pack 1 (PDF 173Kb) (Home and Professional) - most common problems
- Windows XP Service Pack 2 (PDF 244Kb) (Home and Professional) - most common problems
- Windows Vista (PDF 310Kb)
- Macintosh OS 10.3 and higher (PDF 266Kb)
- Windows 98 and Windows Me are NOT supported!!
