Government Publications
The Government Publications Collection contains material published by various government departments on a wide variety of topics. Use the library catalogue to locate print and electronic materials of this nature.
The material in the collection is arranged by country, and Australian material is further divided according to whether it is published by the federal government or by a state government. View some examples that illustrate the range of materials to be found in the collection. Also included are extensive collections of Hansard.
Items in the Government Publications Collection can be found on Level 2 of the library, or in the Annexe. Information is available on how to request Annexe materials.
Some older, lesser used, and rarer material is located in Government Publications Storage or closed Government Publication Microform Storage. This material can be requested at the Inquiry Desk or by phoning (03) 9479 2937.
Collection times for storage items are:
During Semester; Monday - Friday, 10am, 2pm and 4pm.
Summer vacation; Monday - Friday, 10am and 3pm.
