Reserve and Electronic Reserve
Reserve Collection
The Library Reserve Collection is a collection of high use material. Items are placed in the Reserve Collection at the request of teaching staff, to ensure that recommended reading material is available when required by students.
The Reserve Collection is an open access area and includes:
- Books
- Books of readings
- Lecture notes (as supplied by lecturing staff)
- La Trobe University Handbooks (for current year only)
All library patrons may use Reserve material within the Reserve area. However, borrowing from the Reserve Collection is restricted to La Trobe University students and staff only.
Electronic Reserve Collection
The Electronic Reserve Collection is a service provided by the Library that allows La Trobe University students and staff access to electronic material.
The Electronic Reserve Collection includes:
- Selected journal articles
- Book chapters
- Some lecture material supplied by academic staff.
Access to Electronic Reserve material is available to La Trobe University Students and Staff both on and off campus.
