Serials Microform
At the Melbourne Library, microforms are found either as microfilms (a reel of film) or as microfiche (which is a film about the size of a post card). Special machines, microfilm and microfiche readers, are required to read the material in microform format.
Readers and associated equipment for making copies of microform material are located at the north end of Level 2.
The Bundoora Serials Microform Collection consists mainly of older serial titles and newspapers. Part of the Serials Microform Collection can be located at the rear of the Library at Level 2 (Bundoora Microform Serials). The other part of the Serials Microform Collection (Bundoora Microform Storage) may be requested from the Inquiry Desk.
Collection times for storage items are:
During Semester; Monday - Friday, 10am, 2pm and 4pm.
