Number of records: 34,100+ HIV/AIDS Database (HIVA) is a bibliographic database of journal articles, books and audiovisual titles listed in the catalogues of the NSW HIV/AIDS Library Network. HIVA deals extensively with clinical, nutritional, medical, social and psychological aspects of HIV/AIDS, as well as the relationship between alcohol and other drugs to HIV/AIDS. As Australia’s most comprehensive HIV and AIDS collection, HIVA is designed to provide invaluable information support for doctors, health care workers and allied professionals, students, researchers, and people living with HIV/AIDS. The HIV/AIDS Database (HIVA) consists of the library catalogues of the following organisations: 1. Albion Street Centre Library 2. Drug and Alcohol Services Library (formerly CEIDA library) 3. ACON: AIDS Council of NSW Inc. 4. FPA Health 5. NCHSR: National Centre in HIV Social Research 6. Department of Corrective Services (no longer updated) NB: The record structure of each collection varies, so that, for example, some records may contain abstracts, while others do not.
