PsycCRITIQUES is a database of reviews of material relevant to psychology. The reviews primarily cover books, but films and software or other media are also reviewed. There are approximately 7,500 reviews from 1995 onwards; new releases add approximately 15-20 reviews of very current books each week. Weekly issues are browsable, and the entire database is searchable. The database includes images of many book covers, as well as biographies and photos of the reviewers. PsycCRITIQUES replaces the APA print journal titled Contemporary Psychology: APA review of books, as of January 2005.
