Will Stone
Will Stone, born 1966, is a poet and literary translator who divides his time between England and Belgium. His first poetry collection Glaciation, published by Salt, won the international Glen Dimplex Award for poetry in 2008. His published translations of poetry include Les Chimères by Gérard de Nerval (Menard Press, 1999) and To The Silenced: Selected Poems of Georg Trakl (Arc Publications, 2005). Two landmark collections of translations of the Belgian symbolist poets Emile Verhaeren and Georges Rodenbach are forthcoming (2010) along with Stefan Zweig - Journeys, a first English translation of the renowned Austrian writer’s travel essays (Hesperus Press, 2010). Drawing in Ash, a second collection of poems, will appear in 2011.
