The Works of Ottolino da Brescia

Other names: Ottolino de Brixia (Grove:Sacchetti)

Ottolino is known to have set three of Sacchetti's texts to music, though these are now all lost. It seems clear from the sonnets he exchanged with Sacchetti that he did not work in or near the `fiorentina urba', but we know little else of him.

I' sento pena, omè, per tali amanti Ballata
Se crudeltà d'amor somette fe Ballata
Verso la vaga tramontana è gita Ballata
