Text

Non form= Cristi nato de salute.
donna za mai s8 piena de vertute.

E quando miro el so benigno aspetto
che m'F nel cor scolpito.
imaginando com' el F ferito
io non ho altro deletto.
E coss8 ho fermato lo intelletto
de non partirs'omai da tal ferute.

Translation

No man born to be saved by Christ did ever
fashion a woman more endowed with virtue.

And when I contemplate her benign face
imprinted in my heart.
and think of how my heart is wounded.
I have no other pleasure.
And thus I have firmly resolved in my mind
that it's too late to put those wounds behind.
