Text

Le aurate chiome nodose et avolte
d'un fil de perla, talor d'un bel fiore.
per virt· oculta mi penetra 'l core.

.....................................

Il me conven cantar in alcun loco.
chT pur me sento da' sospiri en foco.

Translation

Through a hidden virtue her golden hair.
tied up in knots with a string of pearls.
sometimes adorned by a lovely flower.
has touched my innermost heart.

..................................................

I must sing somewhere.
as I feel enflamed by my sighs.
