non aspettar pi· tempo.
ma da lena al mie cor d'amor conquiso.

Da gli ochi belli e graziosi e gai
spirit'o core gia ma' non si parte.
Ma tienti ne l'amor, come tu sai
di non amar altru', ch'amor vuol l'arte.

Translation

If I must part from your beautiful presence.
do not tarry much longer
but soothe and ease my heart, conquered by love.

No soul or heart is ever parted
from eyes so full of beauty, grace and joy.
So keep yourself in love, as you know how.
not loving others (this art is part of love);
so that, when I return to these parts.
which will be soon enough.
I may experience the bliss of your sweetness.
